to understand yin we need to understand yang and to understand yang, we must understand yin. trying all my favorite transitions and some new ones found their way in. with this newfound awareness in my body ~ with the balance of yin and yang. this moment in my life is 14 years in the making. over a decade of practice and almost a decade of teaching. 700 hours of education. 7 trips to Costa Rica. it took everything that happened before to lead me to this moment now. the practice of yoga asana has blown my mind heart and soul O P E N again and again and again. through repetition. repetition. repetition. and now I’ve learned; “YIN YOGA IS FOR THE BRAVE PEOPLE.” if you want to understand yourself deeper than you ever have, meet yourself in the mirror of a yin practice. we live in a world addicted to yang energy. the grind. the hustle. the running the rat race. but we’ve lost touch with the yin.
